Mamalo,
Is it possible that you have a second computer with the same name connected to the wireless network? Try changing the notebook name.
Right click on My Computer, go to properties, then go to computer name and click on change. Change the computer name and reboot it. See if it helps.

Hey Stephen,
Even though Toshiba says that the stamping is located in the battery bay, I think it is actually could be found on the laptop base itself. Today I was working on Toshiba Satellite A10-S169. I had to order some parts according to the stamping in the battery bay. I was looking for it all around the base and found it close to the big gray Toshiba label (with laptop name and model on it). It was close to the lower-right corner. It was just a letter S, the same size as a stamp for screws but without any circle around it.
Laptops are touchy only when they do not work properly. :)

Thanks for the direction. I'm going to start work on this at the end of the week. Other projects take priority. I've have looked and looked for a stamping in the battery bay and find only the stampings that identify the type of screw for the particular screw hole. Do you have an illustration that would pinpoint where this illusive stamping is located? I'm starting to feel, well, stupid. Frustrating to not even be able to get to the POST in the Boot sequence. Are laptops always this touchy?
