Mark,

Every month or so a screw comes out of place, from somewhere inside the computer, and when I walk with the laptop I can hear it rattling around.

I think it's a design flaw. If the laptop is still under warranty I would send it in. There is nothing wrong if you send this laptop without screws attached but if you attach them, you'll help a technician who is going to replace these screws.
A floating inside the laptop screw can create an electrical short on the motherboard and damage it.

I have an Acer 3620 Laptop that has been working great since I got it, although lately I have had a small problem with it. Every month or so a screw comes out of place, from somewhere inside the computer, and when I walk with the laptop I can hear it rattling around. So far, I have removed 3 screws from the inside. I just unscrewed the little cover on the back and shook them out. Nothing seems to be running differently...and I don't know if I should send the laptop in to get fixed with the screws attached or not. So far I have pulled out a silver screw, and two black ones. I know that doesn't say much, but I don't know whats important and whats not. Is it possible that my laptop is running too hot and is melting something causing the screws to come out of place? Thank you for your help.
