i have purchased Dell inspiron three years back. recently i found the three vertical lines running down in different colours.
can it be because of the loose contact or problem with the lcd

I have the same exact model, exactly one year old like yours, and the same problem. Very interesting. I have green dashed lines that run vertically down the screen. I tried re seating the video cable and no luck. Haven’t tried an external monitor yet. Let me know what you find, and I will do the same.
