So yesterday I was cleaning some old unused programs off my computer and I accidentally removed the utility and driver for my network card, a Broadcomm BCM4311. Now I am unable to reinstall the driver, and XP says there is no wireless card. Could I have actually damaged the card, or am I just doing something wrong on the installation process.

My wireless on my laptop quit working. It is a Toshiba M45 Satellite. The Wirless on my Fiance's still works just fine. When I go to the Connections page and bring up all networks it sees it just fine with full signal. It reads that it is Aquiring Address and that is as far as it goes. The thing has been running slow and had some problems so I just reformatted the HD and reinstalled windows and it didn't fix the problem. I have checked to see that the wireless card is seated good. I have check it by connecting via Ethernet to the modem and that works fine. Our other laptop works just fine. I have Ubuntu loaded on there as a boot from disk and didn't know if that might have had anything to do with it. I haven't check to see if it will work with Ubuntu yet, but plan to tonight. Any suggestions?
