My laptop makes squeaking noise because of microphone
Whenever I run my hand over the microphone it makes a squeaking noise…also when I turn up the volume fairly high. I can hear my songs fine it just gets very irritating.
Here’s what you can try. Enter the advanced sound and audio devices properties in the control panel and adjust the microphone settings. You can lower the microphone volume level or mute the microphone at all.

All the sounds on my Compaq Evo N410c comes out really high, squeaky and fast. Any suggestions?

right ive turned the mic all the way down to get rid of that annoying squeaking noise, but i will have to turn it back up if i want to use it right…?
