I have an HP Compaq 8710p and it's LCD screen completeley blacked out for no apparent reason. I was job searching and had just exited the site for a couple minutes. When I re entered the site the mouse arrow froze about half way down the screen. I thought it might just need a couple seconds to bring the page up, but it stayed frozen. After waiting a couple minutes and trying to escape i just turned the computer off. When I turned the computer on it froze again so I turned it off again. The third time the screen remained black, the power is on , but the screen stays black. Please help. Thank you for your time.
